The Classroom
Puzzles, push-pull toys, art materials, climbers for large muscle development, and board books fill shelves and encourage exploration, communication, early literacy, and curiosity. A cozy corner for Circle Time and an inviting Housekeeping corner complete with pots and pans and dishes, encourage the imagination. Toddlers enjoy learning early math and spatial concepts when they visit the Block area or Manipulative center. Our classroom walls make a perfect gallery to display the works of Legacy’s master artists.
Our Curriculum
Plans for Toddlers encourage experiences in language development, communication, music, movement, and creative expression. Our playgrounds are opportunities for teachers to extend learning to the outdoors. Toddlers may create paintings on the fence or make self-portraits with chalk on the sidewalk. Because we believe in the development of the whole child, Framework For Their Future® includes a Character Building component. Toddlers learn from themes such as Happiness Is and How Do You Feel?
